F4N is a structured programme that prepares UK manufacturers to compete in the nuclear sector — helping companies understand what nuclear buyers expect, identify gaps, and meet the requirements to win work.
Assessment is carried out by NucCol's supply chain consultants, who visit each company in person, verify a self-assessment across six categories of business excellence, and work with them to build an action plan against nuclear industry standards.
Companies working through this process are listed as On the Journey. Those approved by the F4N granting panel earn F4N Granted status — the recognised mark that a business is ready to compete for nuclear contracts.
